Sulpa Island ♥

Sulpa island was our last destination. It's just 15 minutes away Caohagan (or even less!). Just like the first two islands- Gilutungan and Caohagan, you can easily notice the white sand from afar. It has a cliff- like feature which makes it a perfect spot for instagramgenic photos. There were a number of small pumpboats docked which made it more picturesque. Here a few snaps of this small yet beautiful island.

Think I can fly, think I can fly when I'm with you
My arms are wide, catching fire as the wind blows

Swinging on a tree reminds me so much of  my childhood. Sometimes I just want to be little again.

"People look everywhere to find themselves: in songs, in movies, in books, and in other people. They are searching for something to reflect on, the same way you are too. So keep looking my love, something soon will find you and something soon will speak to you and it will not be too late. Because it's never too late. Everything starts right now and if it doesn't, then leave it- something better is on its way"

Caohagan Island ♥

After swimming in Gilutungan island, we moved to the next destination- CAOHAGAN ISLAND. According to the boat man, this island is owned by a Japanese. I was surprised when I knew that. I know that some Japanese helps the people in the island not that it is owned by one. It's sad that a Philippine island is owned by a foreigner and not a local.

We didn't go near the island because they collect an entrance fee of 200 pesos. It's not that we couldn't afford it. We opted not to. It is our land no matter what you say. Well, if they said it's an environmental fee then I'd probably give. but still 200 is too much! Pardon me for slightly ranting! :P

Lablab and I with the island as our background.

Staring at the green trees, the white sand- ALOHA LIFE! ♥

This photo made me look like I peed but actually I was trying to fix my bottoms. You know- WEDGIE! hahaha

I am more comfortable in my own skin, my own flaws, my own rolls and my own curves. ♥

Gilutungan island ♥

Gilutungan island is one of the islands surrounding Mactan. It is a good spot for people who wants to go snorkeling and diving. We took a pumpboat from Mar Beach  for 15-20 minutes. The waves were calm and the sun was shining bright that day. PERFECT!

With students, Lablab, Kuya Allan the driver of the van (in green), and a friend's cousin wearing blue. Sorry I forgot your name. ^^

While sailing ♥

Coconut juice or purple lashes anyone?
Having a coconut drink in one hand, the sea, the summer sky and the sunshine- ah! good life.
Coconuts are sold in the island for 50 php each.
That's Lablab enjoying her coconut

Our boat looks old and needs to be repainted. But that won't stop us from having fun!

That's me trying to achieve the underwater mermaid shot but failed. I couldn't stay under for long. I run out of  breath so fast. I don't know why. And the water is too salty it hurts! I was wearing my contact lenses 'cause if  not it would all be blurry. I was worried about my lashes, too! Hahahahaa

Aloha vibes only at Kalanggaman island ♥

From Malapascua island, we had to sail for a couple of hours to Kalanggaman island.Once we got on board, I realized there were more people on this trip than what I expected. There were Japanese, Koreans, Malaysians and even local tourists which summed up to 20 people and 5 more boat crews.

My friends and I decided to sit on the font most par of the boat to get a good TAN ( but SUNBURN in my case!)
The water is so clear!

Eyebrows and lashes on fleek ♥

Goodbye island life for now ♥
Let the warm glow of the setting sun kiss life's hurts away.
So to finally end my post about my weekend in Malapascua (post here DAY 1, Lighthouse and Private Beach, Sunset, DAY 2) and Kalanggaman island, below is a summary of expenses per head.

50 - snacks
100 - pumpboat to Malapascua
20 - flat boat (needed when the tide is low)
340 - room ( total amount divided to 5 people)
200 - brunch for day 1

DAY 2 || BEACHella at Malapascua Island ♥

SUNDAY. We had to leave the beautiful island of Malapascua and start sailing to KALANGGAMAN ISLAND. Allow me to share a few shots before I finally say adieu!

Waking up to this every morning would definitely gain a spot in my top 10 fave mornings. The number one would be waking beside BUBBY, of course! ♥
View whilst waiting for my breaky ♥

Tanned life is the best kind of life.🌺 No filter. No sunblock. But yes to "on-fleek eyebrows" and pseudoBLONDE messy hair.
I was sick on our first night. Damn migraine! So I decided to bulk up during breakfast.
Rice || Sunny side-up egg || Eggplant omelette || Coffee || and hydrate with lots of WATER ♥

Summer posts wouldn't be complete without a coconut photo!♥

DAY 1 || Malapascua island's sunset ♥

Malapascua isn't only home to the clear sea and long stretch of powdery white sand beach. It is also renowned for its glorious sunset which everybody looks forward to see when in the island.

After going to the lighthouse and the private beach, we headed back to the resort. The japs wanted to swim some more while I decided to get some sleep. I really wanted to watch the sun as it sets. The sunset is at 5:55 pm that day.

At 5:00 pm, the tourists started crowding at one side with their beach towels laying on the sand waiting for the main event with a bottle of cold beer in one hand or just merely enjoying the company of friends and loved- ones.

That's us, chilling while waiting for the sun to set. All giddy!

Here are a few snaps of the sunset I'd like to share with you which I took myself.
